The deck plug is making slow but steady progess. Instead of taking shortcuts and squaring off many surfaces, Rich has retained the curved surfaces on the stern hull sides above the rub rail. It takes meticulous measuring with trail and error to get the lines just rite. Rich is laying out the dash area now.

Once the dash is complete the plug will need final finsihing work with the bondo area. Once he sprays the plug I'll post picks.

The project is behind schedule and won't be complete for this season. I visit the shop two or three times a week and although it's disappointing that I'll miss this season the finished boat will be worth it. This thing will be like nothing else on the water. I had entertained the idea of going to I/O power but I'm going with my original plan and the 225 Pro XS.
