These guys have been showing you some pretty good deals. On that $3,200 454 ask if it has forged or cast internals. Price what the parts cost to build something like this. This is one of those things where you have to wonder if the deal sounds to good to be true it probably is. Other wise, there must be a dire financial situation. In any event be careful.

I have a 2001 540 Bulldog with a procharger. It has 165hrs. on it and it is complete drop in including exhaust. I want more than you want to spend but it is a 540cid tall deck w/750hp. Probaly take 10k for it.

Quote: found fresh rebuild 454, 520 hp 3200.00 in Toronto.. getting specs today...

guess the deals are out there..
Quote: no it's a 454 rebuild with performance upgrades from company in toronto .. been in business for 36yrs and comes with a one year warranty..

I do agree you get what you pay for. I haven't bought it yet. I am going to look at it and also a fresh rebuilt 500 tomorrow.. the 500 is 12k , also has warranty and can be built up to something more if I want.

Btw you are probably right about the 454 I am looking at.......

I am guessing, but I bet that one year warranty is void in a mrine application.
