I have bought a 525 EFI long block from Clear Lake Boats in Texas for customer. Engine had 60 hours on it(0 hours on rebuild), long block was gone through by a reputable machine shop in Texas and freshened with new bearings, rings, oil pump, and had valves and seats touched up for re-sell. Engine was taken out of customers boat so could go with bigger blown engine. I had boughten engine for a customer who has come into some financial problems. I did run a leak down test on engine to verify rebuild, all cylinders test 95% and above. I am selling the LONG BLOCK only which includes front dampener and pulley, flywheel, oil pan, timing cover, valve covers(of some kind for shipping,I'm keeping the mercruiser hp blue ones), circulating pump, and lower EFI intake. Engine is sealed up completely. Can send more pictures for serious inquiries. $7863.97 plus shipping. Mercruisers part number for rebuilt longblock 841178R06 lists for $13,227.94 plus a $2500.00 core charge if no exchange. This price is half of Mercruisers including core, I would also go half at the amount of $6613.97 if you have a good like core to exchange, subject to tear down & inspection.
