The front pedestal mounts and zinc chromate aluminum gussets are used, but the engine mounts and rear cast iron gusset mounts are brand new never installed and are bagged up.

Gil 496 mounts for twins.

The idea was to have the ears welded on to convert both mounts to single engine (The cast iron rear gussets bolt to either a borg warner transmission or a bravo driveline bearing housing) all hardware to bolt them up is pictured, new and mercury bags.

So they could be used as either a single engine transmission driveline or bravo driveline set up. (The front stamped block mounts are used)

The idea is that 4 big nuts and the engine comes out without crawling under there and unbolting the typical plates off vertical angles that are bolted to the stringers

In bags, clean and new. Like to sell both 496 mounts and the mercury rear gussets, and front block pad mounts for 350 plus shipping

These are front and rear aluminum gussets for pedestal mounts ( TRS 30 scarab) in perfect condition, sanblasted zinc chromated and boxed up years ago. Could be used for twin bravo front mounts too.

Not sure what these are worth, virtually pricesless tho !

Brand new NLA mercury single engine front mount never used. Paid 300 plus shipping, take 300 plus shipping.

Super secret mercury alignment tool for bravo. It aligns the drive bellhousing with the gimble bearing. Slide it on the algnment tool shaft to verify alignment, use feeler gauges to make it 100% aligned the way the old TRS drives were done, think the speedmasters too.

Not a scratch on it, i'll have to look up the price.

the rear cast iron gusset mounts and the front pad mounts could be used with pedestals and horizontal aluminum angles bolted onto the stringers to fashion up your own rail mount for either a single engine driveline transmission or bravo boat as well

Fyi those 496 front mounts clear a 10 quart oil pan and they aren't 496 gen 7 specific, a 454 502 etc will bolt up to them.
the only difference between single and twin 496 mounts are the position of the mounting plates.

Let me throw this out.
Say you got a 4 or 5 speedmaster on a box or a bravo and a stellings box.
If your close to the transom and are running a short driveshaft, These mounts will allow an up/down adjustment to reduce u joint angle when moving the box from the middle to either the top or bottom holes.
(I'll measure and picture the amount of adjustability if anyone's interested) safe to say at least 1/2 inch in either direction from midpoint. That amount could keep the the ujoints happy and intact.

Also he sent me some pics, you guys are gonna wanna see his restoration project, nice clean work on a very classic hull.
