Remember: we can only block with a screenshot -- a description of the ad is not enough, since we don't see the same ads you do
On a PC, use the PRINT SCREEN button, then Paste (ctrl-V) into an email or post.
Yeah... I'm not sure what your complaint is either, but Heather is trying to help.
Bottom line: you will see ads whether you're a member or not, as we do not as yet offer an ad-free membership level (we will).
If you see these rollover ads (they're not really popups), screenshot them and we'll block them.

You guys aren't set up right. I have NEVER EVER seen an ad on OSO in 5+ years! I don't get pop-ups, I don't get inline forum ads, I don't get top or bottom banner ads. Nothing! Not on this site or any other site. I'm using Firefox with Adblock Plus with a few custom filter rules.
Secondly, taking out your frustrations on the mods is futile and disrespectful. They have nothing to do with any of this. All they do is take time out of their day, on a voluntary basis, and try to help us all.
