how do you guys think a 2000 velocity 280 with a 502 will handle clearlake and conroe?

it will do fine. Velocities are fast, strong hulls, but they ride a little rougher for 2 reasons.

1. the have a bigazz pad on the bottom, and I think they only have a 22 degree deadrise.

2. Thats the way you mother likes it !!!
