Just use a torch.

Yes I can use a torch or a "band" saw and make it look decent. If you want it done right you should use a plasma. Since you guys seem to have it covered.......good luck and I hope it turns out ok.

Jeff, i wouldn't buy a China special plasma cutter but that Hobart looked like a decent deal to cut up to 1/4" steel.

jeff1000man 01-21-2008 08:22 PM

After a meeting of the minds and consultation with more experienced businessmen, we have declined the current location for the new shop and will be seeking a different venue. :(:hitfan:

you guys use a plasma cutter once, and you will shoot your torches and bandsaws with shot guns and throw them into colter's pond :party-smiley-004::party-smiley-004:

I'll just hold the cash and send over a case of peanut butter for betty.

wstultz 01-22-2008 09:46 AM

No cash necessary and Betty has enough peanut butter.

May 2nd and 3rd. The more I think about Ticfaw and the TOPPS CL shoot out.........The more I want to go to the Shoot Out.

Pros
I will only need to take 2 days off vs. 3 days.

Trailer an 1.5 hour vs. 6 hours

Would be very cool to raft off and watch / Party

Boat wouldn't be ran near as hard vs. Ticfaw

Girls would enjoy the Shootout more...
Cons

Hotel rooms cost a hell of alot more

It is only Clearlake.....nothing exciting about that....

What is your guys thoughts???

I think Tickfaw would be more fun... Atleast the pictures I have seen look that way. But I will go were everyone else goes. If I only go to one I would think Travis. Do you have to be a memeber for the Clearlake run????

:

Do not have to be a member for the Clear Lake Shoot Out.

If you decide to go to Travis vs. Clear Lake I think you would be making the wise choice:cool-smiley-011:

I'm getting confused.....I thought Jeff was getting a warehouse to store all his "projects". What's up with the shop and charging for what? Is he trying to open a business? And what "service" is he offering? Is this supposed to be a mechanic's shop? So I guess he'll be bonded and insured and offer warranties??? :readinghelp::readinghelp:

Seems to me he wants to be able to break even on his hobby. I can't say I blame him. I should open up a boat dealership. I bet there are just as many people buying boats as there are waterfront property in this market.:(

[QUOTE=tomtbone1993;2416252]here are some pics I took of Jeffros new shop...

You were there last night during the executive decision. Don't start the rock throwing just yet.

For updated info.

Dr. Blackwood and I decided that the probability of theft was a little to high at that location to store such valuable equipment.

Shopping for more secure locations. :(

Jeff is getting a warehouse to open up a repo facility. He already has First Bank Of Conroe lined uped to get all their repos.....should be a good venture for him. I wish him the best of luck.

Bonding and warrantie are available to anyone who pays to have there junk repaired correctly. Yes.:cool-smiley-011:

Band aide, duct tape and bailing wire repairs will be treated as usuall.:evilb:

As soon as you leave, we don't know who you are. :party-smiley-004:

We will be set up to run credit cards, and more creative financing options are available by contacting Moose and Rocco who work out of the back of the restraunt, but the juice starts as soon as the money leaves the store.
