They are not cheap arounf $725 each but they are self cooling and dimmable.

stainless marine makes them now in LEDs that mount to your transom without having to drill through holes. They were pretty inexpensive. There was also a company I talked to at the miami show that had all variations of leds for transoms/cockpits, etc and they were much cheaper

Trust me. Boatman looked at all of them, and the ones he is talking about are the best. We spent hours on LED transom lights.

BM22, I didnt know if you talked to him much at the boat show,, but Rob, used to be a regional manager for derema, (boat parts and equipment), he went to all the IBEX shows, and has list miles long of parts suppliers, corsa is one clarion, challenger hardware, tige boat covers, and on and on. I doubt he is looking for a job, but if you ever want to pick his brain, or need a contact, he could be a great help, before derema, he set up all the Boat U.S. and West Marine stores up for their Grand openings,

There were a ton on lights at the show. Many were not LED but HID's or Metal Hydride. These were as bright as HID but are LED's. If you look at the photo you will see that all the circuity is on the out side and cooled by water or air when running. It looks bad ass at night when running. No more sales pitch. I should have the display next week.

Thanks again to our gracious hosts yesterday. Joe and Kim have done a great job with the house and everything looks fantastic. There was one decoration in the house that was a little off. When I asked Joe about it he responded with, " Yeah man it's great. They gave us this at closing and told us to hang it in the living room." When I asked, for what reason, Joe said, " Every household with this proudly displayed in your living area doesn't have to pay your mortgage. This guy will take care of you." I was so dumbfounded I had to snap a picture. Even Kim was pround of this new decoration......Joe ended the conversation with, " Man, we love this guy!!!":drink::eek::evilb:
