It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.... |

If he would have said, :hitit: and left it at that, it would probably have been a slam dunk. Now, I don't know.

Overall, she is has been very good with the rates, but more inmportantly the policy usually is pretty good also. You can check the ratings of the company and see how they pay out if you ever need them to. Make sure that they don't have exclusions or superchargers. I might check with David also for the Magnum if you are getting a good quote on a good policy. |

one of the quotes he gave me was very comprehensive...no layup period, you can use state to state, inland lakes or saltwater....thats probably the one I will go with
That is why I keep asking about what you are getting quoted. If you don't tell them you have the blower, you will have the same problem that you had with the Villain. You will also get denied if you lie about the top speed. It amazes me that you are telling them you are having a 550+- HP engine and their speed calculators are letting you into their underwriting requirements. Let me know what you find though. And that is not what comprehensive means. Comprehensive means perils covered for. Locations and lay up terms are restirctions. That means you would have a limited amount usage restirctions. While we are on the subject, you ahould ask about your PIP, Spills, Hospitalization limits also and make sure they are all competitive. All those things calculate into the "quality" of the policy. You can get a great rate quote from a POS company that wouldn't pay you no matter what you agreed to during the origination process, so you need to check their rating also. :bigbird: |
Who needs insurance anyways? Nothing bad ever happens to our rides.:lolhit:

What about the supercharger and the speed? I can get the Magnum covered for $600 a year for a 50 K policy with 0 restrictions through boat US, State Farm, Allstate, Progressive, etc. You name it, they will all take them. When I put the supercharger on it, There were NO carriers that would take it except Elton Porter and they wanted $3200 a year. That is when I met Stacy and she found me a Loyds company that would take it for around $1800.

I thought I told david I had a supercharger. And I told him around 500 hp. I guessed a top speed of 75. I will send him an email |
I don't really understand why a blower would jump up rates that much, horsepower is horsepower, its not like adding a blower turns it into a cat :lolhit:

So you going to make the poker run Chad? What about you Mushy? Magnum gonna be finished?

Unless you have something better to do "like take one for the team for boat insurance" come by my place on Saturday. I am not sure if Lefty's deal is in the mix for me this year.

I think Brian may have had some four blades. Don't know if he got rid of them or not.

39.9 pitch will keep you out of the red. Hell I won't even charge you for that info!
