Apache cats were originally designed by the master, Don Aronow, and they perform well in the rough even though the cockpits are moved forward. Plus, this one has arnesons which is nice.

I'm not sure it was the apache cat he designed but back in the day he designed a cat that looked very similar. There are a lot of picture of him fine tuning the models of the hull.
BTW, I'm not refering to the USA 39, although, that was an awesome cat also.

don aronow worked on the halter marine cat ... and the 24' aronow hull.. for sale in classifieds here. you guys should watch cats conquer offshore T2x aka rich lhurs and darren put it together it is a pretty good dvd
