What about the other way? Anybody been to Corpus on the water? How far/long is it and anything to watch for or worth seeing? Me and some guys went to boat show this past srping down there and thinking about going back this next spring but instead going by boat.

I have done Galveston to freeport,easy trip thru the gulf.
Are you going to take the ditch or the gulf?

I guess it depends on the weather but I was planning on taking the ditch. I need to look into further as for what shipping channels it would cross and at Mat Bay how it goes. It would be nice to run just a bit off shore the whole way down though.
