Default Any Chevy II experts out there

I am going to go look at a 1962 2 door Chevy II. I am not very familiar with Chevy II's is there any thing I should be looking for? This is a fixer up'er. The guy is asking 1800.00 for it. he said the body is in good condition with very little rust and the floor pans are solid. He said there are a couple of small rust holes in the trunk floor. It has a 350 Chevy 4 bolt that was rebuilt a year ago and a 4 spped trans. His son told me cash talks and to make him an offer. he thought his dad would let it go for 1300.00 to 1500.00. So what is it worth?

Take good look underneath checking out the integraty of the frame!!! Alot of those old cars from up north really get thin from years of salt ridden winters.

If the thing even runs it's worth $1500.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think I would get hurt on it. I'm going to go look at it tonight.

If the frame is junk it ain't worth SH**. When I moved down to Arizona I couldn't beleive what I found in junk yards. Our junk yards down here have nicer rust free cars then you could find up north and pay big dollars for.
