I have a 2500hd duramax and I need to setup it up to tow a Cafe Racer/Top Gun. My question is what should I use for trailer hitch (receiver) , I know I need a Class 5 hitch. I also want Weight Distributing hitch with sway control. Need a MINIMUM of 14000lbs weight distributing capacity, but would like more. What system does everyone recommend.

Get the Putnam XDR hitch or the Reese Titan-V hitch receiver. Then look into the Equalizer hitch if you are bent on sway control, but I can't see it working for what its worth on a boat.

I put one of the putnam hitches on my old 2500HD, its rated for 15,000lbs weight carrying, something like 16 or 17,000lbs weight distributing. Its a monster and easy to install. I got one for Jason's Dodge dump truck as well, and after installing it they promply bent the frame, hitch, AND reciever with the dump body... but it survived! it didnt break or crack a weld on it. just unusable due to the damages.
