I was thinking about installing a 6" suspension lift on my 2004 Chevy 2500hd. Just wondering if this has hurt any ones towing capabilities? Also what brand lift does everyone prefer? Thanks.

They may refer you to his cell number.
Docmanrich37 has a 2005 2500HD D/A lifted via suspension lift; 4" riding on 20" wheels. The lift was installed by OutlawMark here on OSO in Culpeper, VA. You can ping Mark at Outlaw Motorsports; (540) 829-0300 or at

Mark and his crew have worked on all of my trucks, SUVs, and cars, and I hold them in high regard.
Rich tows 12,500 lbs with no issues whatsoever. He does have rear airbags installed vice the heavy duty add-a-leaf which made the truck ride too rough.

I can think of a couple brands I wouldn't hesitate to use.
As for towing capacity. Brand name won't affect that at all. The one thing that comes to mind is "regear"!!!
Just remember, cheaper isn't better.
