My boss tows with one but I will say one thing the truck was sitting right beside a 04 chevy and dodge at work and we had a hydogen tank rupture we work at a power plant the nissan was totaled it was parked the farest away and there was not a straight piece of sheet metal on it. It left the parking lot on a flat bed while the chevy and dodge had a few dents and the windshield blown out they left under their own power and are still running today. My boss had to get a new nissan

Doug thanks for the info. I was not aware of the towing issue. However I've now got over 1500 miles on it in two weeks and have yet to tow anything so I should be in the clear. With luck their calling for mid 80's and sun this weekend and I'll be hooking up the boat for the first tow. On the mods if there's no gain in mpg I'll not spend the money. I've been trying to drive normal and stay out of gas pedal as much as I can to see what kind of mileage I can get. It's getting better.

Did you look at the Tundra? Test drive it? I was set on a Ford till I drove the Toyota. Fun truck, lots of room inside and it tows my 288 Beautifully! better than my 01 Ford, and better than my 03 SS !

Just curiouse if you looked at the toyota.

Had the Tundra with 10,000 lb towing capacity came out a year ago, I would of grabbed it. But they didn't.................slow bassssterrddsss :evilb:
