i had the trans done already by a local guy brazed billet convertor, heavy duty clutch set, lowered the stall etc...

Its not easy but there are stand alone computers out there to install 4l80'es in any vehicle,they used to be big bucks but have gotten semi-reasonable in past few years. We have done a few conversions on various vehicles,Smitty

We redid it and now my son's driving it- he's loved it since he was a little kid. I doubt he'll be towing anything so I 'm hoping it holds.

I believe Ford uses synthetic tranny fuild now in all vehicles...check it out.

Their oil is a syn-blend 5w-20

installed the mag tech trans pan and rear diff cover, converted everything over to synthetic and installed a 5.5" fabtec lift kit...what a diff. she rides like a new truck
