2006 F-350 loss of power

I am no expert diesel mechanic by any means, so take this with a grain of salt. Normaly, if there is an issue with the turbo, there will be excess black smoke since the engine is getting plenty of fuel but not enough air. If you are not having the black smoke, then you may have a fuel delivery issue. Such as injectors. Just my thought, but like I said, I am no expert.

Our 05's f350's were in the shop getting new injectors at 15,000 miles, they had loss of power and some white smoke. Matter of fact a wrecker is on the way tonight to pick one of the fords up in wisconsin a thousand miles from home, because injectors out again, just put new ones in it nov 19 06. 6.0's are worst motors made.

As far as the 6.0, from 03-04 they had a bunch of issues, 05 and 06 seem to be a little better. My 05 has 68000 miles and has been a good vehicle so far. I don't plan on keeping it past 100k though.
I would not mind getting into a GM, but I can not stand the seats and interior. For what ever reason they are very uncomfortable to me.

My 05 did the same thing. It was the high pressure oil pump, it was coming apart. No check engine light either. A good diesel mech. can figure it out. If they can't figure it out don't go back.
