I have the Direct injection I think it is the LBZ ?? 330hp 6 ish on torque..
Anyway I was afraid you may say to keep it..
I have a lease & could buy it out, but I am afraid it may be cheaper to walk away & buy annother one as opposed to leasing again... Or buying what I got comming off leas in about a year or so.. J

yours is an LLY, check the glove box sticker, first build LBZ was around 9-15-05 for 06 model year, mine was built 9-13 or 9-14 and has an LLY, but mine runs as good as any LBZ I have driven yet because it has the 06 LBZ PCM

had an 04.5 LLY
have an 06 LBZ now
additional lubricicity additve takes 3 minutes and is relatively cheap for the peace of mind. I am faithful about it.
other than being less mod friendly in terms of electronics, and the particulate trap system, the '07 "classic" and the new '08 are pretty much the same truck.
the new body style is on the existing platform.
I think the NBS HD front clip looks BULKY.
I'm keeping this one.

Actually I had a customer come in this morning with one and I drove it.... 07 GMC Dmax, butt frickin ugly, and I luv GMC trucks, so i'll keep my 06 GMC Dmax thank you very much....
also I saw an 08 Super Duty demo yesterday at a local Furd dealer, if it didn't say Super Duty all over it, and I mean even the damm dashboard.... i'd think it was pretty awesome... pretty quiet too...

Are you sure it was a Duramax, according to the factory they only started building the new shape HD's on Monday this week.

poor choice of words, I meant the running gear/suspension is pretty much unchanged, frame aside.
There aren't any GMT 900 HD's on the ground yet other than pilot builds to verify line assembly.
99% of them will get crushed.

that 07 classic is an lbz if it was built before jan 1 07,, all we can buy now is ulsd since about aug-sept of last year,my 06lbz runs just fine ,buy a truck now and you will save 2000-4000 dollars over an 07.5 gmt900 truck,

been thinking about buying a plain-jane 4WD '06 reg cab gasser for a second vehicle.
I'm looking at $4750+$1000
$5750 under invoice.
I have found a couple 6/stick/cloth seat/locking diff trucks.
Brand new 4WD fullsize truck for 14K.
you can hardly buy an economy sedan for that.
