Hey Brainiac Thunderusone. As I stated in my post you obviously didn't read the first post in this thread. And to boot you didn't even read mine correctly. I clearly stated that Buck DOES sell these mounts. His answer to the first post is one that is drawn from his own personal experience based on his customers feedback. Did Buck in any of his posts offer to sell anybody anything ???

I suggest you move on because you are clearly showing your intelligence level on this thread. History has shown the quiet ones to be the smarter ones. Get it???

Smitty...you are much much smarter that I.....thank you for pointing out all of my inadequacies. Additionally, thanks for educating me about your tread.....and you are correct again in that I did not pay much attention to what you wrote....not nearly as much as you did to mine or my avatar for that matter. As far as being quite, unfortuantely you do not get to dictate terms in an open forum. Also, the length of your posts would indicate that your IQ is lower than you may be aware of based on your previous analogy......please expand on your hypothesis.

First off try using the spell checker. Secondly, I only made a suggestion, not a dictation. You are certainly free to do whatever you wish, as we have seen.

Man this thread went in the crapper. As a independent 3rd party with tiers or history to anyone I appreciated Bucks opinion . I look at it like he is a guy that has been around the ball mounts in question more than me so I take his words at face value. We are big boys and girls and can decide if someone is BS and throwing a sales pitch. besides, those mounts...., you know...the subject of this thread before the urinating contest began. Anyhow, I for one never felt like Buck was "pushing" anything, just providing opinion and feedback.

Opinions from first hand use & feedback from customers of business owners is an invaluable tool, not gospel, just information to process and form an educated opinion from, without the information/feedback there can be no knowledge.
Everyone on this forum has opinions/knowledge to share read it, asess it and learn from it.

WOW. I see I haven't missed much since I been off the board.

Let me summarize.

Some guy asks a question.
Somebody with knowledge answers it. We have ratings, physics, the whole deal.
Somebody who has an opinion turns it into a pissing match.
Then some short dude from Jersey...types...some...crap....

Sound about right?

The caddy with the billet mount is priceless. The point that I have been making is exactly what Byrd is saying.....the hitches are a piece of crap.....especially the aluminum drops. If you are towing any weight at all and get into a panic stop......you can hang it up. A lot of people don't know that much about hitches. Everyone that is towing over 10K#'s have stated that they are junk.......and then you have the ginsu knife salesman saying that they are Peterbuilt rated because he is selling them.......who has not towed maxed capacity with one either. But hey......you go get your 38, 42, or big cat and your billet ball mount and rock out with your kock out. I just hope I don't meet you coming down the road.
