I really love this Camaro. It drives and handles like a new Corvette and has all the modern comforts to boot. The car was 11 years in the making. I drove it for years all beat up and patched together, but I still had fun with it. When I bought it, I put together a list of what I eventually wanted the car to be and started collecting parts here and there as I could. Last year, when I had the necessary parts to get the job done, we went at it and knocked it out. I can honestly say that it was well worth the wait.

I love the play toys and the lucky thing is that I have a wife that tolerates this addiction. Like I have said in other threads, this is why I really can't complain about her wanting me to sell the Apache for another boat with some kind of cabin. She isn't nagging about it or anything. She just said that she would like a cabin and more creature comforts on the boat, so I don't see any reason why I can't make that happen. I will tell you that when I feel bad about having the Apache for sale, I go out in the garage, look at the other toys and count my blessings. A lot of time, sweat and money have gone into the Apache, but there are a lot of nice performance boats out there with cabins. I am sure there is one somewhere that will give me the same joy that I get from the Apache and make the rest of the family happy at the same time.

That's a great attitude, and BTW an awesome car. Many times like you stated above we all take things for granted, and dont realize how lucky we truely are compared to some. It also helps to have wives that love our toys as much as we do. My wife loves boating and fishing so she just got a CC for her first boat, and that's all she talks about. Should be another fun packed year. BTW, did I say I really like that CamaroJeff
