I hear ya....I actually don't know that much about the newer GM, I was just trying to get one in there! I have had such good luck w/the Fords...I wanted to get the Chevy guys going..it worked.

I am hoping that in 09' they replace the Griswald family vaction front end as well as up the milage.

Other than that, I love the truck but will stick with my 06' until they change.

I like the front end more with time. I am fortunate I was able to keep my 05' and let my superintendant drive it. This truck is quite different though...mostly interior and of course the acceleration.

I saw some people talking about replacing the upper amber lights in the headlights with clear bulbs that light up amber. I think it would help the front end out a little bit.

The look has been growing more and more on me too, but that would probably be something I'd buy if I had one.
