3" in the front and 2" in the rear...it was only 1-2" in the front in the pics

How did you lift the front?

I'm ready to do mine. Tired of hearing all the *****ing about the 22.5's. If you want to get rid of a set, let me know. It just looks too cool to not try it. 2001 GMC 3500 4x4 crew cab. Thanks.

It's not *****ing, its trying to help OSO brothers out so that they don't make the same mistakes/waste money,,,No one really gives a s*^t one way or the other what you do with your truck,,take advise or don't....
It's just opinions, right or wrong, but most are based on previous experience.

If I trade my truck in I'll sell mine...I'll know in a few weeks...I want 3,500 for everything,I paid 4,800 and only have 1k on them

I agree with Slick. He's just trying to help. For some people, that's a lot of money to spend to find out how bad the truck rides after putting these wheels on, or how much towing capacity you loose if you don't regear the truck or how much stopping power you loose if you don't upgrade the brakes. These trucks didn't come with these wheels and arent designed to have them. So you change geometry and over burden the other components of truck if you simply bolt them on with out making other modifications. I did it with a GMC and a Ford. The Ford handled the wheels better but I got tired of making mods and the ruff ride, and the fact that my seat belt would lock up and pin me in the seat. If all you care about is looks, then go for it, you can't beat the look, it's *****en.

I'll leave this discussion with one final thing to say,,,every honest person I've ever talked to that has done it,,wouldn't do it again.
But everyone has a different criteria for what they want/expect out of their truck.
Tim's right, it looks cool, but mine at this point is a daily driver, and I personally was unhappy with the results, so I was just pointing out the other side of the modification.
