Don't push down on the accellerator pedal as much.

These electronic diesels are significantly more efficient than the original non-electronic 3116 of which they're based upon. In the 3126, the 190 horse motor had different componentry than the 325 horse motor. You needed to replace the pistons, turbo, balancer, fan, injectors & some other bits to go to 330. Now I believe it's just turbos & injectors to jump the entire range and just reflashes from 250HP up.

Bottom line- you want the power, you have to feed the beast.

They theorize this will result in a 10% drop in fuel usage. What an epiphany! BMW has been putting theser gauges in their cars for more than a decade- nothing more than a manifold vacuum gauge.

I have a tree position chip in my f650 with the c7 motor, it woke the truck up a great deal, but milage ahhh about the same!!
