I personally run the Edge with Attitude programmer and also ran it on my 04 6.0 S/D with no problems whatsoever, but I've never turned mine up past 3 and usually run it on 2, also have an Airaid airbox and A Bassanni turbo back 4" exhaust and towing 12000 lbs have never seen more than 1050 degrees in tow mode. I liked the Edge unit because it gave me gauges and it allowd me to adjust settings on the fly and also allowed me to compensate for the 4.30 gears ond 35 inch tall tires.

DP Tuner, you can choose a number of different programs (up to 16 I think). It is also suppose to work the shift points in the tranny. I get my stuff through ITPDiesel.com. Very good guy, very knowledgable, very anal. Guages, 4" exhaust delivered as promised. Getting AFE air filter kit, tuner and tranny pan next.

the 6.0 engines do not hold up with extra boost, pistons very weak and ford knows what to look for upon failure and bounces the warranty. even removing the unit before taking to a dealership won't help as once one has been istalled the will be a code set in the computer that will alert them what was done. The programers do work very well....right up to the time it takes a piston out...so proceed carefully....Rob

I presently have 2 6.0 Ford trucks with over 125k. With proper maint. schedule and IF set in the proper setting for the application, along with having the programmer (SCT Custom Tuned) that works in conjuction with the tranny, the 6.0's do live. Ive actually have had a few less problems than my Duramaxes. Both of those Allison tranny's went into limp mode with the EDGE at about 90k miles. The motors are fine. All these trucks pull about the same weight with in two thousand pounds. Jeff
