You seem to have the good info Do you happen to know the warranty on an 06 LLY/LBZ as far as the engine/injectors go? I'm assuming 100K miles.

Default Duramax injectors

I am thinking I also have the injector problem plagued with the LB7's. I get a lot of white smoke at idle and the truck idles rough. (it actually shakes the truck a bit at idle)
Otherwise, it runs fine. Is this an injector warranty issue?
Also, when I get new ones, I have heard there is a company who tweaks the nozzles for better spray patterns and you get quite a bit of efficiency gain and mpg. Now is the time to do this if I get new injectors. Any info on who does it?
Thanks

Like jmackin said, check for diesel fuel in crankcase. Also, replacement injectors are much better quality. I doubt you dealer would warranty anything else.

So this morning I wake up head out to the truck and it looks like somebody poured 2 Quarts of oil under the truck?
Totally baffled as it has never leaked.

I Pull the dip stick and the oil is ABOVE the full mark by about 3/8's of a inch.
Not white or foamy........so my first thoughts is fuel.

Noticed your comments on the crankcase full of fuel,..what is the cause?

Guessing it go to full and found a place to leak out last night!!

Thanks
Jon

After 04.5 the LLY engine came out. The injectors are on the outside of the valve covers and can be replaced in minutes and one at time. Injectors are not a problem on the LLY and later engines. Jeff Wurl
