Default 07' 2500 HD Transfer Case Fluid

Does anyone know for certain if it is the GM synthetic or Dexron? The owners manuel says Aitomatic cases use the synthetic. Manuals use Dexron. Mine is push button so???
Dealer says Dexron. Thats not whats in it from the factory though. Its cleaish maybe slightly brown, looks to be synthetic.

Ok, I had the dealer go back and look again and what they came back with was something called Syncro Shift II. Its a SAE 75W-80 API GL-4 Synthetic.
What came out when I drained it looks the same as this stuff.
What pisses me off is that I had a transfer case go out on my 05' Duramax at around 120K and it had been running Dexron in the tcase that the dealer filled it with 50K miles earlier. That truck is gone but it costed around $2,500 at the time for a reman t-case.

I think I'm going to go after them for some type of recourse. Does any one have any advise?"
