I just bought an 08 Chevy Silverado 1500 crew cab, Texas Edition, $34,400 sticker, paid a little less than $21,000 for it. I searched all over Dallas and Oklahoma for it, only white one I could find.

Crazy!! I heard last nite that most manufactures are shutting down for atleast 2 weeks. That should clear out some inventory.

Why not buy late model used? Plenty of deals out there and you won't take the drive off the lot hit in value! I picked up an 07 f250 extended cab lariat loaded 4X4 Diesel for 15K!

Might have changed but when I bought my GMC three weeks ago Dodge was only heavily discounting the 1500.My truck was fully loaded 3500 crew cab dually, duramax allision leather navigation DVD etc.Stickered for 54.900 bought it for 42200 and then used 1500 gm points so end cost was 40700.There are some great deals on used 3/4 tons but the duallys seem to hold there value better and a lot of them have hard lives.Don't think the pricing will get better than it is now good luck I love my truck
