Can you explain what you mean by the Flash from the Dealer? Ford Dealer? I am not new to reflashing ECU's, I have done it on several imports . But everything I am reading with the 6.4 units is that many of them are detectable by Ford if you have an issue. Ideally I would like to find a piggy back that can be removed without a trace.

There is a service bulletin by ford for a free "reflash" that is done at the dealer for improved milage and power and it is entirely supported by both ford and navistar

Ok, Thanks. I was unaware of a Ford supported reflash.

I've turned up every diesel I've owned 7.3 6.0 double stacked turbos and the 6.4 is very impressive once you get the dpf out and let it breathe. I'm running a 200+hp tune.

Exactly, with ONLY a Spartan Tuner and DPF delete, most guys putting down over 500 hp with the 6.4's. So any 6.4 guy who has $1500 laying around can be driving around a bonafide monster.

Well said it took so much more to get the old ones over 500hp at the wheels.

Stcok 3500 Duramax and allison, no need to touch it, pulls great and great gas mileage, if you decide to tune it, use the banks utility set up with the air filter kit and you have a beast, and no warranty issues. Just my 2 cents.
