I'm not sure about that and since the boat no longer exists there's no way for me to check...

My understanding is Mr. Carlson used Drew Marine a lot. This motor was the 540/600 unit. The 1050 Dominator was very difficult to shift around the docks. It was almost as if it had a crash box so that I had to kill it to shift it.

The midrange performance was not good either which as we all know is where we spend most of our time running. Ateco motors has recalibrated the Dominator's circuitry and according to Bill Lawson the problems I alluded to have been solved.

That is this year old man. The 302 is what I had when you first joined. I have three boats. The 302 (going to be gutted and made as fast as possible, no interior at all), the 311 is the family truckster (going to stay stock), the Donzi 18 with big block is also going to stay stock.

jons 311 runs nice, hey about the trucks in 84 I ordered mine as a shortie stepside 351 HO, C6 AUTO, all power plus locker in rear with true trac in front 4.10 gears, I DID HEADERS and a few other changes and used it for truck pulls/sand drags/mudboggs/ car shows/ icedrags on lake george ny undefeated for about 4yrs in mod tire class stock truck and wife was in all 3 classes. we ran 4000 race studs in 4 true trac tires it was like being on the street. but also pulled a 18wheeler out of a mall parking lot that had not been plowed and broke threw the snow banks, also pulled a 6 wheeler car carrier truck off the beach when he got stuck pulling a customer out, I charged him. then there were 10s of trucks ,suvs over the years I would pull out of the woods/beach/snow/ice. I use to get calls all hours from people hey my friends will give you 100 to get the jeep out of the woods one was stuck on saplings lil trees they ran over a bunch then backed up next thing the jeep was 3feet off the ground. man I miss that truck later art
