The 6.7 has more power and torque than the 5.9 but not the fuel mileage unless you delete the emissions stuff. Lots of aftermarket mods for it now too. It's still an inline Cummins, just a bigger bore and stroke... |

I have an 08 F-350 6.4 30k miles, 10k of them pulling heavy Formulas. Absolutly zero problems. Mileage is around 12-13 empty,10-11 loaded. There will always be bad press on anything new. Dodge,GM,Ford all good trucks, but I wouldn't stray from my Fords.

The Econ is a mild, safe tuner that focuses on mileage. It only has three settings, unlike the Smarty which has TEN.

I've had two diesels and have not chipped either one. You're not going to hurt your truck with a mileage tuner. It will pay for itself within at least six months and continue to save you money. |
I have a 2008 F-450, 4 door, dulley with the 6.4 Twin turbo Diesel, I love the truck it has a Spartan tune, DPF delete, intercooler pipe, and a air intake, the truck runs great and gets 19 MPG, get a Ford, they did not take a bailout:grinser010:.

You don't need a power chip towing that. The nice thing about the 6.4 is the twin turbos which don't allow any lag. My single turbo doesn't hit till around 1300-1500rpms which really sucks. If I was pulling anything over 10k I would get twins.
