birdog, same boat, like the fords but my 99 7.3 with 247000 is still pulling all it needs. curious though about the new fords durabillity motor wise.

Jassman, thanks for the feedback as always with the truck purchases, it looks good.

My only complaint is that the ride is softer than I prefer...but I'm going to change that.

Put air bags on it, that will make it ride rougher. I just took the bags off my Dodge dually and it rides much smoother now. I'll sell you mine for $400. I paid $700 including installation for them. The kit comes with in-cab gauges and controls.

Cat they are having to make new brackets for the 2011 not even available yet. I took mine off my 2006. Drivers side wouldn't fit.

how is the stereo in the new rigs? do they incorporate a sub?

Jassman...now you need some larger tires to fill those bigger wheelwells

Nice ride BTW

thats what Im looking at now.. trying to find a place that sells some 305 60 R20's that will make them just short of being a 35 tire on the factory rim.. and fills the wheel nicely.

the top of the line system does have a sub built behind the back seat.. its skinny and not real substansial but does help and the system does sound good for what it is.. Its loud and clear, and the sat. works awesome and Sync is amazing..love getting the gas stations to see who is cheaper as well as getting movies in which theatres.. All touch screen..

I went and looked at them Saturday. They have an F450 on the local lot that is just tempting me. If this go round to fix my 6.0 is unsuccessful, I'll be tempted to not wait till the second year revisions to come out before buying one.

Our 250 has 19k on her, not one problem and tows 10-12k every day depending whats in the trailer. Thats why I ordered the 350 for my personal truck.. Ive always gotten duallys but have changed my mind on that. These trucks are vastly improved as well as the new Duramax's..in which we have one coming as well cause my carpenter prefers GM..even though he loves this 250 vs his 08 Duramax..

Seems like an amazing vehicle but at around $50k it probably should be..
Ill keep plugging along in my ole 7.3 as long as I can.
