Get ahold of Lucky Strike on here, that is what they deal with mostly.
The two red flags that stand out is the 06 is the old body style (so the price will be low)and it means it is either out of warranty or real close to being out.
Car is nice but they get real pricey for repairwork. That was a $120,000 car when new and they need expensive parts! The myth about Mercedes running for ever was the 70's/80's models that had very few computers and very simple cars compared to the new stuff. Call the local dealer and get a price on an air conditioner, compressor/evaporator etc. It will make boats look cheap!

Great cars, but they do have some issues. Oil cooler leaks can be an expensive problem. Check out benzworld.org or mbworld.com. Tons of info there. I've had quite a few MB's, they are great cars, but you do need to keep up with the maintenance. I would never even think about buying one with an unkown service history.

The CL65 (05-06) is the one I really like. Classic lines and over 600 HP for less than a new base model Corvette! That site says they were extremely low production (like less than 150 per year) but I see quite a few around Jupiter! They all seem to fall hard from the 200K sticker price......

www.mbworld.org notes failures with the "ABC" line to the tune of 3K on the V-12's. I'm not even sure what that is!

They are about $140 for OEM... $80 for aftermarket.

The AMG is a whole different animal! They use a floating 2 piece rotor, about $1100 each off the top of my head. Do you still have your 55?
