Have a new trailer and the mftr insists on lithium based bearing grease. What bearign grease to you use?
I have the Safe-T-Lube hubs where the spindle is drilled and when pump grease in center, it pushes from back thru to the front.
I've found Mobil XHP222 that I might switch to. Any other good stuff?

from reading on here, I have the same style hubs, i just redid all 6 and went with the amsoil blue synthetic marine. i now have pressurized hubs so hopefully it will last longer too with no water intrusion.

Thanks for the hits so far. I agree Amsoil blue seems to be the one, not hard to find either.
What about Lucas #2 Red & tacky? says llithium based and for marine use.

Personally. I wouldn't use anything Lucas produces, period. Part of it has to do with the following...

Both, they and Royal Purple, produce a product that doesn't even meet spec! Now who knows what all the rest of their products are like?!

I've used the Lucas red and tacky for the last 5 or so years with good observations. Doesn't seem to break down. There may be a better one. I'm not pushing it but it has worked well for me.
