[QUOTE=Too Stroked;3361788][QUOTE=mrfixxall;3360603]he also said that the engine is 3/4's of the way under the cab and good luck trying to service it,he also said that if the serpentine belt were ever to go its not something you will be able to do with out taking the fan shroud off to access the belt..
True, but remember, Ford has made it very easy to remove the cab from these trucks to address that very issue. Once the cab is off, everything is pretty easy to get to. He said not really and it makes everything very easy to get to. Have you looked under the hood on most cars lately? My wife's SLK32 takes a special tool just to check transmission fluid.:bsflag: |

When I first seen a 6.4 at the dealer with the cab off I said to the mechanic what a pain. He said not really and it makes everything very easy to get to. Have you looked under the hood on most cars lately? My wife's SLK32 takes a special tool just to check transmission fluid.:bsflag: |

Yeh I've never understood the whole "cab" issue, it's an easy job for mechanics and once off everything is within reach easily.

5 gallons for the Pick-ups and 6 gallons for the Chassis cab. And I just noticed the DEF range is also based on the rear end(s). 3.31 7100m normal driving 3.55 5800m normal driving 3.73 5050m normal driving 4.30 4100m normal driving FWIW :drink: |

We are just using the DEF fluid that we are getting with the new style CNH tractors. Just got 275 gal container deliver Friday. Before that you could get it at the local gas station in 2.5 gal jugs for 13 dollars I think. Lasting around 5000 miles on a F350 dually. Have 7500 miles so far, love the truck, much better mileage than the 6.4L. Had a sensor go bad in the exhaust, no biggie. The new interior is so much better and all the other improvements are great as well.
