Well - I just cut a deal on a local one with 58k on it. LTZ package with all options I believe except Navi and Rear DVD.
Probably a little more than we set out to spend, but hopefully it will prove to be a good purchase in time - I liked this one because the carfax had oil changes every 4k-5k at a local dealership for the entire time. Loved the Champagne and White Leather... |

The nav. Is big in the truck, I wouldn't buy a truck without it
I apologize, Mark - I owed you a PM back. My wife just liked the look of the Tahoe better and also wanted something with lower mileage. |

Congrats on the new ho! I have an 08 3LT with 4 buckets, rear bench. Works great with 3 kids, room for them to move around (getting to their seats) without moving a seat. The nav and dvd is awsome. As for aftermarket add ons, headrest monitors are cool, but the electronics will never be as well integrated as the factory system. I can listen to the radio, 1 kid can watch and listen to the movie, and the other kid can listen to a different radio station. Helps keep everyone happy. Giving them control over their own rear heat and ac is great too.
You made a good choice! |
Had it for about 24 hours now and absolutely LOVE it. One of my better purchases.....

Towed the boat last weekend with the wifes Denali, was a bit worried at first because it sat so low with the tounge hooked up. Once I started rolling the load leveling suspension cranked up and leveled us out. Truck was surprising stable towing this big fat cow (boat not wife). Has nav and rear dvd, and rear heated seats. The rear dvd with the wireless headphones is a godsent for long trips, sometimes I watch movies with the little one and make the wifey drive haha. The 6.0 is great for power, but we averaged about 6.0 MPG towing!
I actually like that the seats come out, compared to our Lincoln which folds in the floor but not flat! With the seats out in the GMC and the fronts folded we have a nice flat area that will even fit a full sheet of plywood. The Linclon has a rear center console and the 3rd folds to about a 15 degree angle at best, PIA! http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/...1/a2986fb3.jpg |
