That sounds pretty nice. I still wonder what it would feel like with 10,500 behind it.

What is the list on the truck you used Dave?

Good to here the inside display is close.

43K

I towed my toyhauler with this same truck and with it and the stuff in the bed it was about 10K.

The same hills werent on that drive and it was cooler and the eco felt great.

That is great to hear. I just picked up a new SD with the 6.7. I looked pretty hard at a truck like yours though. Amazing that they get the power they do out of the 3.5. It is good to hear real world feedback such as yours regarding the towing. Nice trucks.:drink:

Congrats on your new SD.

The ecoboost is NOT my truck.
Im in the market for a new truck and I was borrowing it from a friend.

I can truly sat whatever the F - I feel like about it because I didn't spend the money on it. Much fairer way to judge something.

I paid 42K for my titan on 04.
(which has a few more features than this ecoboost and almost every truck Ive seen.)

Seems like a deal to me considering the technology advancements.

The one I ordered was an XLT 4x4 standard bed extended cab. I got the convience package and chrome packag since it was a buy one get one free. Max trailering which you need to get the 11k tow rating. Truck was 38, got it for invoice at 34 and right now there is a 2 grand rebate, and I beleive there will be a 4-6 grand rebate soon.

At 45 grand I dont know if I can justify that because I got my 08 diesel for 30 and it would take a lot of diesel to make up that 15k difference.

The question was what was the sticker. - it was 43K.

Billy paid 38K for the truck I posted the pictures and video of.

No I know I was just responding to Wildman. And really just making a generalization of the price tag of that truck if it cost 45k it wouldnt really make sense. But yeah I know you can build them cost that much. I worked rebates and the sales and inventory cost and basically have a lariat coming for 32k minus leather and the badging.

Heres the climb up to Chiriaco Summit (where Patton trained troops in preparation for African campaigns)

This hill combined with the heat absolutely destroys trucks and tow vehicles. This is the one of the 4 "Acid test" hills I regularly tow up in Southern California.

Pardon me calling everyone that passes me then slows down, and a bunch of guys that dont use lanes properly "idiots."

Truck is impressive.

Could ever use the cruise control while pulling the boat or did it hunt for gears to much with the cruise on??
