My Tandem Manning with my Formula on it does not sway at all even at 80:party-smiley-004:.I do have a dually so that may be some of it.If you plan on taking long trips have Rob make you two spare holders, that was suggested on another thread.I would have but I did not think of it.
I personally would not get a drive gaurd, don't like the way they look, one more thing to do at the ramp and a lot of guys have said on here that they had wiring problems with the rear lights because of the harness getting pinched. |
Definately Elec/Hyd brakes. Get the drive guard for only 500. as long as it swings out easily. Mine had to remove 4 U posts and lift it into the truck...hassle
Agreed, looks cool !! Manning would be a consideration for sure. |

+1 on electric brakes. Once you go electric you will wonder how you ever lived without them! Pull My Trigger, What kind of trailer did you go with? Great information I think I’ll stay with the tandem axel. BTW What the heck should I sell my myco for? Any ball parks? Great shape, but surge drum on one axel.:angry-smiley-038: |
Dual Axles and electric brakes. Will handle all your needs.

I had an dual axle aluminum Loadmaster under my boat. It was a great trailer, but not nearly as nice as Manning. Manning's shop was right down the street from my last job. They make a nice trailer! I agree with most here on the dual axle. My ramp was tight and would have been a huge pain with a tripple.

I would definaltely go dual. I prefer surge brakes for convienence. My stuff gets hooked to differnat trucks all the time.
Manning builds a nice trailer and so does Load Master in Port Clinton, Ohio. I'd say $2800-$3500 for you Myco |
I thought load master in Ohio only did steel trailers?
Are they same company as the one in Tampa? |
Go with the Manning and spend the extra $500 for the drive guard... Pull one pin and it swings out of the way and the added protection is really nice, cheap insurance when backing up too! :D
If I could get away with a tandom I would, but having two spares is a great idea if you go that direction... especially in FL. |
Have you checked out these guys for a trailer? They make an extremely nice aluminum.
