Your better off contacting a local title and tag office. If I'm right I'm pretty sure NJ is a no title state for trailers and you might be able to just give them the vin#;s and register it? So long as nothing pops up on it when they run the numbers.

NJ is non title state for trailers, however they usually want a notarized bill of sale PLUS the old registration.

Default Trailer ?

Dan,

Hope you are enjoying the new boat.

I believe Ashley gave you the information from your DMV in order to obtain a title for the trailer?

Let us know if the DMV does not help you once you finish the steps necessary to obtain a new title.

Let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Regards,

Scott Shogren

That is correct, and I believe the last person to register has to be the one who signs.

Unfortunatly, although Jersey doesnt issue a title, it requires one from States which do and they look it up.For the record, Scott Shogren has never been un-responssive on this or any other subject and my dealings with him and his company have been Grade A. I am sure this can be worked out. Fortunatly, the plates for a wave runner trailor are the same size as a regular one :-)
thnaks for the feed back.

I bought a used Myco trailer from Georgia which does not have titles. I live in North Carolina and they require a title. I made a form with all the trailer and previous owners information with a letter explanining that georgia does not have titles. I had the previous owners sign them both and had him notorize them. Had no problems with the DMV after that. Jeff Wurl

For the record, Scott and Ashly from shogren are working with me to rectify this situation. Thanks to all for their input. Scott continues to support the notion that his company is among the precious few who stand solidly behind their dealings and clients.
