I would think you know me better by now Dean....LOL. The DPF didnt last 2 months on the truck. It has an SCT 575 Tune, CAC Tube, Cat back, intake, EGR delete and Turbonetics intercooler....not heavily modded by any means...but modded. It turns 37" tires rollin on 24's...no way around it Im afraid...it has NEVER got bettter than 10MPG..even after the mods.

At least this thing doesnt blow up all the time.....yet...lol.

I had a F250 with the same motor and if your talking SRW then the trucks are almost the same. I towed a 29 fountain and it worked great, no issues with it. But I got rid of it due to operating cost, best MPG I would was about 13. If you get a DRW whether it be a 350 or 450 be prepared to only see about 9-10mpg. Buddy got spartan and the dash says 20mpg which is a lie as others have said, its more like 16-18, which is an improvement, but it also cost about about 2 grand and voids the warranty.

I honeslty think the 4.88's are killing it...and the huge rims and rubber. I dont drive it that much...so I guess I can live with it. And surprisingly enough...I cant keep my foot out of it...lol.

Yea thats what im thinking. Seems like my 6.0 has been a good one ill keep it for another year or 2 then def getting a king ranch dually 6.7 cant really go wrong with them. Seems like the 6.4 is a hit or miss just like the 6.0's but just way more money to fix then the 6.0's.

The 6.7 is the real deal!
FORD designed, FORD built, FORD tough.
No more Navistar garbage.

400HP, 800FT-LB Torque from 1,600rpms - 2,800rmps.

And they've been virtually trouble-free and incredibly reliable.

not trying to get into a FORD VS Chevy here, but Chevy is supposed to to be out with its highly anticpated 5th GEN line up soon. I would not have a problem with the Duramax. If I were a betting man chevy would be on top of Ford again with a new design

soldier- I've had corvettes, camaros, s10's, but its just something with the ford diesel trucks that ill prob never buy a chevy truck again. I just feel like the fords are the top of the truck world. I want the best diesel truck for the money and the 6.7 is what i want

Right on. I usually shop back and forth between Ford and Chevy, currently have a ford. I dont dodge beyond cummins I dont trust anything else about dodge whether it be cars or trucks.

To be honest I hear a lot less complaints from duramax owners than ford owners. I have a feeling ford owners at times are willing to accept a lot of issues just because of the Ford name thats on the grill.

I would agree 6.7 over 6.4, BUT I have talked to two 6.7 owners and both claimed no better mpg then my 6.4
