A guy i knew use to have a 2000 Chevy 2500. It didnt have the hd badge on it and you could tell it wasnt hd. It basically looked like a 1500 but had a 6.0 in it.

That blows, hopefully they will work with ya.

The 2500 Non-HD trucks were made 99-05, and were basically the same frame / 8-lug axles as the 1500HD's. In 05 or 06 they got rid of the 2500 name, and made them 1500HD's. 2500HD's got the beefier frame and axles.

As a dealer myself i would go to dealer auction find you what you want as close to equal value as possible and trde back even up eat my loses and keep a happy customer.
