Welding it wont work because my other trailer is a 1 7/8" for the rack thing that I use. So I'd need to be able to swap hitches without using a grinder!
I'm gonna try a square u-bolt and see if that cures it.. similar to what I posted awhile ago.. Im sure the hardware store will have something that would work. Also, add touch weight, that helps it moving around while towing. |

try another hitch pin sometimes find one thats tight. or maybe some sort of rubber sleve or sock can be found. I tend beleive you have light tongue weight and load which is creating all of this.

Yes, it an inherently light tongue load as it is. A 24 Skater weighs almost nothing and with the 300's hangin off the back and no fuel in it, its kind of a bouncy load.
I see what you're saying about running a weld inside the hitch to take up space. I think that is what I'll try, that way I don't have to disassemble anything when I'm switching between hitches. Great idea! |
