Yup, been reading that thread too. It seems to always start out okay and then someone comes along and starts the inevitable tail spin!

You know what would be great feature on this site, if the thread creater had the power to delete posts from within their thread, I think it would achieve two things, send the message to the poster that his info is not needed and keep the thread on track! Of course that would get abused also

And look what I just did!! Sorry!

Now back to the regularly scheduled program!

Alright, sorry guys.

If any of you have any questions about remote start's, I'll do my best to answer. Make sure to include year, make, model, and brand/model of remote start.

502ss, you have to option to report a post to a moderator. In the case you mentioned you can report a post. If the mods agree, they should be able to delete the post.

Thanks!

Didn't know that option existed. I wonder how well it works? Might have to give it a try on a few choice posts!

It's not your fault, you did nothing wrong. You got advice from a few people, however Buck and Jony do this type of service for a living, even went as far as to give you accurate pricing and pointers to help you through it. then the one person comes on and starts(as usual) being an expert on everything about remote starts based on what he "heard". I too am in the aftermarket automotive industry, and for the exact reasons that other listed I sub out my stereo and electric starts to qualified installers that are local. Electronics is not my forte'.

Incidentally solder was banned under his other screen name fountain4402... but advice and information only benefit you if you use the proper one. Buck and Jony gave you solid info, I hope that you use it wisely..
