Doug, ^^^ that's cool. what was it before you turned it into a hauler? I mean, what chassis combo, a shorty that ran containers around town? How did you convert to a ball hitch? Just curious, cool setup!

The International pulled lots of local loads before I removed the 5th wheel and had a friend weld up a tag hitch and build a bed. Not as comfortable as my Kodiaks were and a bit harder to drive shifting through the 10 speed but way more brakes and power. I had been busted for being over length in California at 67ft.10 inches with the Kodiak and boat so now I am legal, under 65ft. With an annual wide load permit. Big truck at half the cost of my medium duty truck. Doug

Nice truck. I've been eyeing new trucks and keep kicking the 6.2 around. Thats a mean motor. You like the 8 speed tranny? I'm sure the power is amazing. 22 mpg is very impressive for the motor |

Hi ,here is my F350 Dually Southern Comfort Edition. It has 22.5 Alcoa wheels and an 8 inch fabtech lift. If anyone is interested, I am interested in selling it since the offshore boat is kept in the marina and I really don't need a monster like this .It turns heads! |
All cleaned up. Nothing special like most trucks in this thread but I enjoy her.

Was trailering it last year, but keeping it in rack storage at skipper buds this season. I don't really mind trailering, but I am really looking forward to the rack.

Love that interior. Years ago a buddy special ordered a BMW X5, in black with 'chocolate' interior; around 2011 or so before it was really popular. Everyone at the dealer chastised him for it; but when it came in, they had 6 raised offers on it before he could pick it up.
I was looking hard for a Sportchasis for the beaker, but with GM raising the Conventional capacity to 20k for 2016, I can just squeak by. Heck, my 06 handled the boat just fine, I was just sweating the potential liability issues. Here is a scale ticket from last season. 1/2 tanks, full water, and gear. She's a heavy lady!
