It's going to give you much better braking in an emergency, will give you braking in reverse if you actually launch it at the ramp with the RV, AND it will allow you shorten your setup by 8" to a foot. BTW: Life you're doing it right! |

It seems to be very love / hate on the high country interior. Personally, I love it!
I was looking hard for a Sportchasis for the beaker, but with GM raising the Conventional capacity to 20k for 2016, I can just squeak by. Heck, my 06 handled the boat just fine, I was just sweating the potential liability issues. Here is a scale ticket from last season. 1/2 tanks, full water, and gear. She's a heavy lady! So your drive axle is half the weight of the steering axle?!!! And only 1/6 the weight of your trailer axles?!!! Something is set very wrong with the weight dist of your rig. You could get into a tail-wagging jack-knife situation very easy with only 3,000 pounds on the drive axle.
They somehow swapped the drive and steer on the print out...or Im thinking I may have had the drive axle half and half on the gap between the front and center pads to get the trailer on the scale. |

Have posted some old pics before. But recently did some upgrades. Got a Carli Suspension system which gave the truck a little lift. Allowing me to run 35 by 12.5 tires on a set of 17 inch Fuel Wheels. Also added a rear view camera along with Rigid Industries lights in back bumper that come on with reverse or by a switch. A Banks Monster exhaust, Bushwacker fender flares and a Red Head steering box. Still want to put air bags in the rear to eliminate the squat when hooked up to the boat.

Dont "Need" a grille but a Sterling grille would be cool. Unfortunately I think the wife would shoot me if I spent more money on this truck right now. lol |

That's at least an F-250, maybe even a 1-ton; from the 90s. The late 90s trucks even got the first generation 7.3L Powerstroke which quite formidable, but maybe not for a 47 Fountain.

It is Dana Point though:cartman:

You are already at the top of the page. You just trying to bury me? |
I recently did a new set of custom headlights on my Duramax. Chalk it up to winter boredom. First time I've done it myself. I started with a set from ebay, then opened them up, removed the orange reflectors, and added amber demon eye LEDs in the projector. Sealing them back up is the fun part!
