Mounts are more readily available than hitches. You might even find one locally. Check your Tractor Supply and the like companies, as well as truck outfitters. I found leftover Putnam drawbards stocked locally after they were out of business. Also check out Curt hitches before you purchase. They make nice hitches and drawbars.
I've noticed, you never really find worthwhile hitch info on the diesel/truck/brand specific forums as they are all too busy tooting their own horns and dragging trucks over curbs with chains. :D You have to go to the RV & Boat sites to get solid towing information and advice. |
