Cars... Boring... Had an Audi R8 in this week. Drove it a bit and it was fun. 100k+ fun? Not so sure. Have a few turbo 911's in the shop now, blah. A car is a car. Four wheels and a seat. As stated the market is trending down. BJ makes everything seem like its gold because of their bull**** sales tactics and overexposure. Not too many "barn finds" left and most of the good cars have already been done and sold.
I recently attended an Audi driving school and they had all of their performance cars to drive. I can't believe I liked the R8 V8 better than the V10.....I would buy the Spyder in V8/6 spd trim and save myself 40K! S8 was a weapon, the rest of the Audis were ok, but not worth the sticker price.

This was my 69 I built. It sold at the Mecum auction in KC earlier this year for a $125K They only thing original was the body and the back seat. It did have A/C and was street driven, It put about 750rwhp to the ground and it did run 195mph in the Texas standing mile.
Their car looks nice, but at best is a 60-70K car. But anything is only worth what somebody will pay for it..
