can always build your own set of train horns http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qE-E2EuWR0Q

I have a set on my dually that came off of eBay for around $160.
I'll be redoing part of it over the winter. I can't figure out why the compressor keeps turning on every 5 minutes. I can't find an obvious air leak, and I want louder horns anyhow. I currently have them under the passenger side of the bed, but want them up front behind the grill as well. I may leave the 4 horns on the back and add 4 more up front with a bigger system. Plan is to tie the rear airbags into the same compressor and add a port for an air hose for filling tires as well. I've can't say I've pranked with them too many times, but I do use them quite frequently to get back at those asinine drivers that show no respect to someone towing. You have to be careful how they will react though. Sometimes they cut in front of you, you blast them, and they end up braking. Timing is everything. In such an instance it's better to blast them once you get up beside them a few moments later. |
The badd azz horns are LESLIE RS3L.
Google them! Find them here: Realtrainhorns.net |
Train horns are for wusses.....This is a friends setup. You really cant tell from the video just how ungodly loud this thing is. It will knock your fillings loose.

I did a K5 nathan on my dually pretty insane 1/2 air lines.

I'm seeing that the Leslie's and Nathan's are the way to go. Gonna give that authentic train sound. What I was willing to pay for a setup now is just going to be the horn, ouch. This will be a work in progress.
