I wanted to ask where the gentleman heard ecoboost was giving ford lots of problems? They sell 50,000+ f150's a month and majority are ecoboost so if they have a couple dozen trucks that have issues that's actually equivalent to almost zero issues at all.
I have a friend that's a Ford mechanic. They get them in all the time. Hoping they don't turn out like those mid 00s 5.4 3v engines which are time bombs. Ecoboost has good power but no matter how you cut it the engine is under much more stress than a V8 to make similar power.
