Need expert Chevy truck advise

I would maintain documentation and if anything seems a little off get a line pressure test done, they attach a pressure gauge to trans, cycle the pcs with a scan tool or tranx200 to vary the amperage which takes line pressure form base to max, if the pump is scarred you will never get to the max which is normally 175-190 psi if trans is stock (On the 4l60e'ss we diagnose). If you have a clean pan when its pulled off will tell you that this is a non issue and on other hand a few teaspoons of debris will tell you the trans is on borrowed time, Smitty

My number one rule is NEVER LEAVE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE! I always wait there, if it drives out I'm watching. I would flip out if any of your issues happened to me. I have quite a few friends that work at dealerships and repair shops. Your issues happen not just at dealers I'm sorry to say. Luckily I do most of my own work or know a good quality person if need be. It sucks relying on other people for sure.

Update on the transmission. Last week I hauled my 280 Velocity down to Sanford Florida to the Velocity factory. I then hauled a new, to me, 290 VR 1 up to Nashville to Eddie Young's Performance Marine to have some work done. No problems either way, Suburban did a fine job and with temps in Florida in the low 80s the transmission temp was about 180 degrees.
Again thanks to all who offered advise, OSO people are a fantastic resource.
