The LLY thing is confusing, they were basically two versions with the same designation (no one really seems to know why). Only a 2006 LLY is the same as a LBZ except for the factory programming. All the tuners for the 06 and 07's brought them to the same spec.

Got home late last night from a trip to PA, NY and NJ. Towed the 41' toy hauler, Harley and all our gear like a dream going up the PA mountains with power to spare. We averaged between 10.8 and 11.2 MPG the entire trip cruising between 65-70 MPH. Michigan roads sucked balls but only had to deal with 21 miles of that crap. Trailer ate a tire in the first 70 miles, I replaced all 4 tires 3rd day into the trip at just over $1500.00 for 14 ply G rated Goodyears.

Glad you made it back, I was waiting for call to bring one of the 350's to pull you home! My 14 F 350 pulled like a beast with the top gun behind it. (80 mph) Arizona is a long pull back to Michigan. See you this week. Truck looks sweet just don't tell my bride I said that.

Can confirm on the LB7 injector issues. I went through 2 sets of injectors until I finally traded it in on a 2013 LML. The trick is keeping the fuel filter changed and getting clean fuel. An aftermarket lift pump with filters helps a lot. Night and day difference between the two. Now I just have to wait for the warranty to run out on this new one so that I can delete all this emissions garbage.
